If one side is not emotionaly stable than there might be a problem..... but then again this is the purpose of a flame war.... the ultimate victory if to eat through their barriers and convert them in to the same mind as you..... However the likelyhood of this happening is none and the Flamer(s) usually just look stupid.... lol

Up to a point they're funny, especially if you're watching and not participating. But it depends what they're about, if it's over something meaningless then I say let them flame away. It also depends on what area of a forum they're in.
Be all and end all is, it depends on what each individual fight is about as to how I feel about it.

lol same here especially when they are between fanboys flaming about which system is better ps3 vs xbox360. I don't really care which system is better as long as there are great games to play on it.

My opinion: they're hilarious, unless you're involved in it. Simple as that. Even after knowing that fact, I still can't help but smile when I watch someone else's struggles, lol. I try to refrain posting in those situations as much as possible.

I think flame wars are bad. They can hurt people's feelings or make a new person feel unwelcome. That's just my opinion.

That right there is as good as advertising. Please don't put down links to other sites...ESPECIALLY if they are forums. That isn't tolerated on the forum.

Flame wars are liek teh best eva. Some are just plain awesome others are just lame. Depends on who is flaming and on what topic. EG: religious flame wars are always good fun to read. Heres some educated well spoken flame war with added spell check {Stormy: removed link}

Flame wars are like exploding outbreaks that people who are arrogant via tone by typing; if you feed the flame, you'll be part of it. You'll be better off reporting to the mods and let their powers fry over the troublemakers. ...Only if this is serious flaming, and not silly putty throws. ;o In other means, I just want it go away from parts of the world of the internet. I believe if any of them break out over the forum then their is an issue that will involve disciplinary action
