			<description><![CDATA[<p>I think it might have been. The browning did have the semi-auto feature also put in though, and it still is a machine gun in class with the 44 so they were both advance for the time to a degree.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>A semi-auto can be just as good depending on the user. A weapon like the German MP-44 was almost as accurate as the M1 and had about the same range. It could be used as both a rifle and machine gun...and the auto/semi-auto feature helped the transition.</p>]]></description>
