Sonic has been bad since after the dreamcast version. Shadow the hedgehog wasn't the first nail in the coffin.

Some crazy kingdom hearts style universe ripping fighting the darkness storyline would work well with Cynder. Shes strong, sassy, and has a difficult past.

I could see this kind of concept working well in a Cynder game, but if made by the wrong hands it would end up as another Shadow the Hedgehog game. The developers would need to use a new type of gameplay style, which could be good or bad for the series. I think it would be nice to get away from the hack-and-slash style that's currently used and hopefully come up with a new standard for Spyro games. Experimenting with a new style could make things worse too, but I think it's necessary if we ever want to see an improvement on our current games.

@Scarlett: I don't really think that people started losing interest in Sonic because of the Shadow the Hedgehog game. It's just that the new games sucked because of poor development (like loading screens etc.)

@Kmn483: That's exactly what I'm talking about. Sonic started to go downhill after that; people are losing interest and hardly anybody plays the new games anymore...

Do we really want this to happen to Spyro?

Ever played Shadow the hedge hog, the game, in my eyes stunk, but had a good theme to it. I think there should be a cynder game where you can turn back evil or stasy good, and depending on how you chose, you get diffrent upgrades to your breathes and you looks slowly change. Imagine a evil feicer cynder and a elagent cynder. Thats the way I see it. And how you progress changes the story line. and your final boss will be ether the dark master or spyro. that'd be cool! Imagine a cutsecnce where cynder betrays spyro . Oh, i love this........
