it was pretty fun. the finnal boss wasnt all that hard. the whole fly any time was great, easy way to regain health. the elements looked pretty cool. no glitches what so ever.

Nah, I don't think DOTD owns but it isn't so bad. I like the Original trilogy better because the Original Spyro games don't have that emo/angst attitude. Not that a more serious side to Spyro was wrong, but man did the makers of TLoS series miss a lot when it came to humour other than Sparx's occasional puns...

This was probably my favorite Spyro game so far, Gameplay wise. My favorte so far by Story-base was A New Beginning, basically because it's got a rather funny/happy mood towards most of the game, and a serious attitude to it towards the end.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love the old games as well, just I see the newer Spyro games as more challenging, serious games for people who are 12+, while the other ones were for kids, since it's a lot easier to do things in the older games.

I like both the older and newer Spyro games equally, but for different reasons.

I really love this game but I would never recommend it on the DS. I haven't played the DS version but I have seen videos for it. and it dosen't look good. plus I think the story is slightly different in the DS version too and not to mention it isn't very clear with some parts of the story. like the ending. definately get it on a consol. plus the consol versions have cheat codes

I just get satisfaction of beating the crap out of things. I like strategy games but patience has never been my strong point. That's why I cheated through StarCraft *snicker*.
