Well, "fitting in" is hardly a reason why it wouldn't be a success. Even disregarding that, it's a movie. I'm sure they could make them blend.

Why not?
1. I'm not talking about bringing back everything. Just the enemies. It'd actually be a break, if you think about it. The LoS world is filled with baboons. Nonetheless, if they actually "put it in the storyline" for the movie, it'd make sense, theoretically.

2. It's going to be a cliché, referring to storylines, anyways.

It wouldnt work really, perhaps in the new spyro games they will go over the old antoginists so they can fit in this new spyros storyline, but i doubt it will happen.

What if in the upcoming movie, all of spyros old, significant enemys, (Ripto, Gnasty, ect) have found SOME way to somehow survive throughout the times incognito, and it's basically them and Spyro facing off? Also, of course, the baboons.. (I don't like the baboons.)

I think that'd be an interesting story-line.
