The only movie to not get a butchered story was "Of Mice and Men" the second version which was word for word in some parts. All directors try to put their own spin on the book (in this case game) or change some parts so it wil "fit in better" with a movie. When thinking of this Spyro movie, try comparing to Max Payne ( which was a brilliant game that had all the script their but the director decided to change it ... idiot)

Eragon was 'meh'. It doesn't mean this film is gonna be 'meh' too. Try to be optimistic, and look forward to seeing it. If it is 'meh' or worse, we can complain about it then.

Would you guys please stop bashing a movie that you assume is gonna suck, before it even comes out, I mean do you know it's gonna suck? No you don't, Unless you see the movie and say "Yep it sucks" don't assume it will, the movie may actually turn out to be very good. And Eragon FYI, was a good movie no matter what people think.

alright heres the thing. maybe the spyro movie wont be great. but it wont be because the producer of eragon *bleep*ed it.

almost every person I know who reads books and then watches the movie version of the book complains about the movie. well think of what the producer have to go through in the making of this movie. a book can go on forever but you need to set a limited time for the movie or else people will be sitting on their butts for hours in the movie theater watching a never ending movie.

also think of the people who do not read the books. if anything you would thing the movie is more for them rather than the reader. they would usually find the movie really good while the readers dont.

but the spyro movie already has the game to look off of. a short game with the visual of the story layed out from begining middle and end.

so maybe it wont be as bad as we think it might be. or at least I hope not.

I think it will be a epic fail. The thing is animated and I think it will be a Beowulf.
Come on guys, if the game sucked, and they are using the SAME storyline, it is going to really suck.

if they also made i robot...this does have a chance, unless they do what theyve done with previous dragons...and eragon was only average for the costumes, otherwise...i died halfway through it.

I had no idea the same people made I-robot. Maybe there is a chance. (I doubt it)
I loved the Eragon book, what they did to the movie is just.......I have no words to describe the true horror of it. :'( :'( :'(

IDN, either way, I think everyone will anticipate eet to the max, reagrdless of what they think to see the outcome, let' keep our fingers crossed qand hope for the best for this purple hero of ours ^^
