The only problem with that is the background on this forum alternates shades of purple.

It's white because the web/Your computer/the site wants there to be something there, that may not make a lot of sense so I'll try to explain it...
The site is looking for a texture for the invisible spaces in you picture, but can't find one, so it replaces the transperant section with white...
What I suggest doing is copying the colour of the site's chatbox background, and pasting that as the background of you picture of Taz, therefor it seems that there is no background, and only Taz can be seen.

(P.S, try cropping the edges of the image to get rid of some of the unused space...)

I erased the background again and put it in my signature but it's still white so I dunno. Maybe someone will come along and be able to do it. Thanks for helping though.

Hm...i dunno where to look. i mean you said you were able to erase the backround. which means that it becomes transparent. ten you but it here and it becomes white again...When you save the file. open it up again and tell me if it appears white when you open the file to veiw.

otherwise just match the backround color with Spyro fourms that won't be the best but it's all i got.

Well, I tried using the background eraser tool and succesfully erased the background, but when I tried to put it in my signature, it was white again.

I have the tools to do it (Paint Shop Pro XI ) but I don't know how to do it. Maybe someone could give me a tutorial or something?
