Who knows if it was intentional or not, they claim that it was simply the way that the game engine made her appear along with the reflections on the model or whatever, but yeah I would have liked to see what it would have been like if Krome had made the game.

The only reason Sierra made her purple (yes, it had to have been intentional) was to make her become completely different than her evil self and to appeal to female gamers more. Same reason why they put the jewelry back on her (the second one), even though neither makes any sense at all. If you ask me, they should have left her design alone. ;P

She isn't purple in any way, DarkMaster, her true color is black. B-L-A-C-K, black.

Cynder is black and red in ANB. Cynder is dark indigo and pink in DOTD. I think, rather than laziness on the designers' part, this is a way to make her look less evil now that she is starting to grow up. If she was still black and red, she would just look like her evil adult self once she hit her teens. Technically I think she's still black, just a luster added that makes her look more good and less evil. Just one girl's opinion.
