No way!! they arent a rip off... at least the first 3 of them, cuz the spyro orange was, in my oppinion, horrible... and the atack of the rinocks was different, but pretty cool, with lots of things to do...

The gameplay was similar, however it was portable and they found some new ways to spice the gameplay up a little (like Agent 9's 2D sidescrolling awesomeness!)

Sorry But what kind of question is this. IF IT IS THE SAME FRANCHISE IT CANT BE A RIPOFF OF IT. Yes, the games are ALIKE but they arnt a ripoff. Its good taht they ARE ALIKE otherwise I would be playing not a Spyro game, would I. I like the GBA games

The one gameboy advance game I played was definitely not a ripoff of the originals it was pretty good for what that system could do and actually reminded me quite a bit about the originals.

Definitily not. The GBA Spyro games were made by the same people, with a resonable storyline, moderate graphics, good control system, and enough little colectible thingys to satisfy anyone.
