Yeah that's true, if people watch the Spyro movie and it's bad, they'll check out the games instead and then it'll draw new fans. It'll probably draw even more new fans if the movie turns out to be a great success.

If it's good, good publicity. If it's bad, bad publicity. In layman's terms, if people like the movie, they will be more interested in the game. If they hate it, they are unlikely to touch the game with a yard pole, and will snigger at their friends if they consider buying the game. I know I'm an unofficial psychologist.

The spyro movie is just a way for players to view the story of the games without it based on your skills as a player. Plus making a game into a movie as it was allready pointed out is that it helps draw new fans to the series. I want to see the movie and i do hope that the makers have done their research on spyro

It's not about the dragons. Its about movies based on videogames/manga/comics, which 90% of the time tend to be failsauce.

I wish Hollywood would leave some of those poor videogames alone.

It's not even about a dragon for crying out loud...sure a dragon is involved in IT as a slight plot device but nothing nearly close enough to consider it a good dragon film...I wouldn't even consider it a good film over all even if the dragon had a good part in it.....just plain sad.

After how they butchered Dragonball, I'm pretty much pessimistic about any movie they might make.  <_<

But I'm not expecting anything I haven't seen before. Just the same story but without having to fight a bunch of monsters to watch.

If they keep it like that, then it won't be wildly successful, but might attract some more fans and (hopefully) won't ruin Spyro.
