it depends what you mean. I only liked these games for the story but the origional three had great gameplay so you cant really decide

I like DOTD the best, I also like ANB and TEN.

DotD definitely wins. With the other two, the only reasons I kept playing were because of the storyline, cutscenes and special effects, but with DotD there was more than just fighting - there were also puzzles to solve and cutscenes which you could interact with.
