I like Year of the Dragon most. It just had so much variety crammed into it...

Then I like Gateway to Glimmer. I loved the little side-quests you had to do, and the characters were awesome. (Hunter = awesome because he's comical. Elora = awesome because she called Spyro a dork. The Professor = awesome because he's short with glasses. Moneybags = awesome because he's fat and blobby.)

I liked Spyro the Dragon too, but it was kind of the same thing over and over...no side missions. Just find dragons.

Gotta agree. The worlds are better, but the challenges and jumping height always got to me. I have beat it about 20 times, and it keeps getting better. ^^

The 1st is the best. It's just... well, it brings back good memories, you have no annoying other chars like elora, and the worlds look the nicest.

Spyro 2 is the best one in my opinion, Spyro 3 has skateboarding and I thought that was really stupid because how can a dragon skateboard? That's just dumb and most of the challenges were pretty annoying and the only playable character I enjoyed was Sgt.Byrd.

I think Spyro 2 was better in my opinion. Spyro 2 just had that something that Spyro 3 didn't have.I can't really explain what it is.

I agree totally my best Spyro to,(look at my name lol) i liek how imaginative they are with like the Dragon eggs and i also though the music was better and it didn't get annoying... the homeworlds where so better i mean bear in mind there is 4 they're all good i like midnight mountain better (lets stay on the thread here) anyway i like everthing they did but it was so annoying when you finished a level wih all you're eggs and then you have liek 398/400 gems its so annoying back tracking for ages just to find they're in the obvious of places! 10/10 game classic

Have you played the first one? That one owns all in my opinion, mostly for the pure originality of it and the memories I have with it.

It's actually my favourite PS1 game, i loved it so much! It brings back so many good memories.
I love the way sparx spoke like some kinda bumble bee.
I love all the bosses too. This game deserves a big thumbs up! 10/10 best!

well i say say it was great i have playied it SO many times. I liked it better then Spyro 2 and the idea about dragon eggs. It has to be THE best Spyro game of all time (in my opainon) in the oringal ones. What do YOu think??? :?
