He was in Spyro the Dragon (the first one). I remember when my friend got up to the battle with Jacques, and it was the very same year the game had come out and, you see, we deciding to kill some time, since it was the new game from the shop sorta thing and I brought up having play around on it since we were bored and we were for waiting some dude to call (not important) so we basically were motel bound. And so, we played around and loved the game and played all the way up to Jacques battle. And I had the controller and my mate kept telling me what because I kept getting game over, i'm pretty sure i kept getting game over beacuse he was telling me what to do.

Jacques was one of those characters in the old series, we saw only once and never again. If they bring back the old spyro i would like to see him again!

Jacques is like the pinnacle of all my "toys come to life" nightmares I had as a kid. I remember I couldn't bring myself to beat him as a kid, it was too surreal for me. I had to wait till I was older before facing my fears and beating him.

Still...

He's a great boss .

I've almost finished the first chapter, its gonna be awhile before I relaese it though because I am going to submit Part 1. Dreaming Fields, that gives you some of the idea of the plot. Its going to be a dark and sinister story so be prepared for the real truth to Jacques world...

Ha ha, I thought Jacques was the coolest boss in the original game. That whole level just kinda... freaked me out after seeing all the nice, happy lands in the rest of that realm. *Shivers.* Hey, I remember that Spyro was a little scared, too! LOL.

And I know what you mean about him being connected to his environment; every other level in Dreamweavers' was the good dreams, and that was the nightmare with the evil "Boogeyman." I like the fanfic idea, Dimensional Spyro.

I've love Jacques so much (Not sexually don't worry!) that I've got a FanFiction in the works about Jacques called Dark Realms: Final Revalations where Jacques is the villain.... I quite liked Jacques but like most bosses in Spyro the Dragon, he had no background and was very mesterious, for some reason I can't shake off the idea that Jacques was somehow connected to the envoirement of the Jacques world. So if anyone liked Jacques back in the good old days keep a look out for Dark Realms: Final Revalations at the FanFiction group page.

heh XD to me jaques is the most crazy yet awsome character to be honest i actualy enjoyed battling him in the jaques level which is ofc named after him btw .
