Chapter 4
Siren's Gate

The trio materialized in a dark, desert area. There was a road leading through, but it was blocked off by two stones bearing incantations, one on either side, with magic flowing between them. At one side of the gatewas a red dragoness layed on a rock, her tail wrapped round it. Next to her stood a purple dragon and a black dragoness.
Amaterasu walked towards the red dragoness and spoke to her.
"Let us pass, please."
The red dragoness replied,
"The gate will be opened
When the password is said.
Either that or the
Source must be dead."
Amaterasu turned to the purple and black dragons.
"What are your names?" she aked them.
"I'm Spyro and this is Cynder." the purple dragon said.
"Well, Spyro and Cynder, i'm Amaterasu and I need your help," Amaterasu turned to the two young wolves,"Komo, Sienna, close your eyes! Things are going to get gory!"

Chapter 3
Darkness

"Darkness?" Komo asked, puzzled.
"Yes." said Amaterasu, leaping down from her pedestal.
"Me and Sienna haven't seen any dark things before." Komo told her.
"Some wolves can see things others can't, like your sister. Her vision hasn't completely developed yet." she replied.
"I can see perfectly well, thank you!" Sienna shouted to them.
"Hmmmph," smirked Amaterasu,"I'm going. It's too dangerous out there for two little wolves."
She prepared to sprint out the door when something grabbed her tail and pulled hard on it. She turned round to see Sienna perched there nervously.
"THE NEXT TIME YOU DO THAT I WILL KI-"
"Please can we come with you?" Sienna whimpered softly.
"Hmmm." Amaterasu thought for a moment. Something inside her said 'Take the wolf, you need her, your own powers are not ready...'.
Amaterasu looked at the little Sol Wolf.
"I'll take you both, but your brother has no powers. He cannot protect himself."
"I'll protect him." Sienna told her.
"Now, you must go tell your parents that you are going." Amaterasu said.
Komo gulped.
"We... can't." he sniffed.
"Why is that?" the goddess asked.
"They're dead," Sienna burst into tears, "They were speared by hunters"
"Oh, I'm sorry..."
"It's ok." Komo replied. He straightened up and beamed. Sienna followed his actions, but she smiled half-heartedly.
"Ok, we're ready. The first destination is the Siren's Gate. It's a long way away, so I'll take us. Come close." Amaterasu told them. She put her head down, closed her eyes and in a flash of light, they were gone.

Chapter 2
Exploration and discovery

Komo padded slowly through the doorway first. he was terrified. Sienna, a born explorer, followed. The Temple was old and images, carvings and bas-reliefs of suns in all forms lined the walls.
Sienna found a carving of the wolf goddess of the sun. She knew that somewhere in this temple, there were secrets unknown to wolf.
"The Humans must have built this." Komo wondered aloud. Gold jewellry and furniture lay all over the floor. Sienna gazed at the floor and when she looked up, amazement lit her eyes. A large statue stood on a stone base, with an unlit torch at either side, and a sun symbol on the front of the statue, on a raised stone. Komo followed her over to the statue.
"It's Amaterasu..." Sienna spoke in awe.
"You mean, the wolf sun goddess?" Komo replied. Sienna leapt up the statue.
"Yup." replied Sienna, putting her paw on the stone disc upon Amaterasu's back. Something clicked in her head and she knew how to free the goddess. She jumped down, went to one torch and lit it with her fiery powers. She did the same to the other.
"One last thing to do..." Sienna said as she put her forhead on the raised stone. The sun on the stone and the sun shape on Sienna's forhead aligned and the statue began to glow.
"What's happening?" Komo asked.
"The sun goddess' return!" giggled Sienna. When the statue had stopped glowing, in it's place was a white wolf with red markings, cloudy fur and a stone disc on it's back. The wolf closed it's eyes and fire erupted from the stone disc.
"I am Amaterasu and the Darkness won't strive!" it said.

Chapter 1
Sundown Temple

The two young wolves ran around.
" I'll catch you!" Komo shouted at his sister. Sienna was nearly choking with laughter.
" Not if I do this!" she giggled, she halted, closed her eyes and the sun's heat intensified. Sienna became surrounded in a ring of fire.
" Not fair! Just because Dad says you're the new Sol Wolf doesn't mean that you're important!" Komo growled. Sienna giggled and the flames burnt out. She was about to speak when a relic in the shape of the sun caught her eye.
" Hey, let's go check that out!" she told Komo.
Komo loved an adventure, so in a few seconds they were at the relic.
Sienna was admiring it when suddenly it seemed to respond to her Solar Aura. The relic glowed brighly and a door behind them opened. The two wolves turned around and saw it... the Sundown Temple...
