Actually I think it's something completely different. I was just reading through a thread about DotD glitches, and someone (can't remember who)
was saying how they'd managed to skip part of The Dam level during story mode, and how because they'd done this the game knocked off 1%
of completion. Well, I know I did the same thing, 'cause when I redid the level in chapter select mode, I didn't miss that part. But thank you for trying to help.

Yes, I know. All the items I missed were in the burned lands, thats the most annoying level in the game. > : | Its quite confusing too. But I've played in that level so much I know my way around almost. XD

Does that mean you have to just go through all the levels again? All the items are listed as collected on the chapter selection screen, by the way.

Okay...

I've been through all the levels, got all the Health bar and Mana bar upgrades, smashed all the Blue Crystals, found all the armour pieces, fully upgraded all the Elemental attacks and killed all the Elite Enemies.

So why is the game still registered as being only 99% complete?!!

Well, anyone know?
