Cornys- No. Vegetarians don't follow the crowd, they're a minority. They are the few people who have looked at the idea of meat-eating in depth, and decided, despite previous habits, that they'd rather be vegetarian. How can you say they don't think for themselves! And perhaps being vegetarian is turning away from a fully natural omnivorous human, but if we can survive on only vegetables, then it is also fully natural to do so. If we have a choice, the most popular one isn't always the best.

Bmah- No, I'm not vegan. Hypocritic, perhaps, but I'm saying that it's morally and socially wrong, two things I've never had much fancy for. Mass depravation for you and several world problems solved.

Swaffy- ... Okay, I'm not even going to bother adressing that quote. Hinduism says it's wrong, Christianity say it's fine.

Aicebo- Battery chickens are raised in about two months. Bullocks are given six months in some places, and need I go into the horrific suffering caused by thanksgiving? Turkey slaughter. And farm animals wouldn't survive long in the wild, but they are the number 1 reason for global warming, as I adressed a little bit.

I'm holding you all in a debate. So either I have the better side in this argument, or am merely the better debater.

Though I don't agree with the bible part, I agree with you. Besides, it's not like they kill the animal right when it's born. They have to be raised to an adult, first. When you think about it, think about how much meat there is in fast food places and resturants, along with grocery stores and butch shops. Think of how many cows, chickens, and pigs are eaten all-together in one day. There needs to be more than that much every day. And it's clear that the farm animals aren't going to die out anytime soon. They're raised mainly for their meat and their dairy products like milk, butter, and eggs. If we didn't eat any of them, they would be either overpopulated or they wouldn't even be around much.

I can't think of a life without meat.
