Well then they should start a new topic with the question, 'Do you think Cynder could have a girl crush?" That question can actually have different answers. As far as I'm concerned this topic is pretty much done, finished, kaput. There's no other answer than no simply because Cynder has met no other females...I bet people will start hating me at some point.

Yes lol back on topic we go.

The question itself asks, 'DOES she have a girl Crush?' The definitive and indisputable answer is no because basically she's never met any other female in the game whatsoever. In fact, I think she was the only female that actually featured in the game so how on earth can she have a girl crush? She's never met another girl.

Nothing wrong with that. Everyone handles it in a different way....the only time I ever get into one is if I know that the one I choose is someone who will always be my friend...then I usually have nothing to worry about. Except with one exception....but let's not go there.

Anyways now that we have wandered waaaayyy off topic lol.....no I don't think she does

Well I'm almost 18 (two months in fact) and I've dated no one, came close at one point but thought better of it, I didn't really see the point if I knew it would just last a few months at best and then fizzle out. I don't know whether it's just me or whether it's the difference between English and American society but I don't put a lot of emphasis on dating, it's not easy to anyway, hardly anywhere to go when you do date and you have to travel great distances to get to a park or cinema etc etc...then again it's probably just me lol. But no one has intrigued me enough for me to date them anyway so I guess at the moment it's just out of my hands.

That is very true. Not everyone would be aware of those dangers...but being aware to them certainly will help you....you have to be constantly obvserving and on your toes no matter what...until you make that final link that can bond you together.

You will experience it no matter what....and I did have a very good sense of it before anything bad happened.....but I couldn't apply them very well. It took a real big wake up call to get my head on straight...and now I do my best to help others who have similar troubles...the feeling love gives you is unlike any other especially if you are with someone who you could basically consider your better half...and sometimes it's not bad to have a relationship and learn from it if you know how to handle it.

For example...I have dated several girls all of which I could have been happy with perhaps....but the timing wasn't right....and we were not ready to handle what was to come....but even after we broke up....we were always friends..and we still are today. Without friendship their is nothing to build upon....that's another great trap with the whole concept.

All I know is that the people who I have dated are still my friends now....and they are good friends. I simply just started dating at an age where I believe I was ready to handle the responsibility of just dating and handling the emotions....which was at 18....and even then when things went wrong it seriously screwed me up.

I don't expect others to share the same views..all I know is what I have seen and learned....and that is that the emotion that comes with love truly does have the power to make or break the person you are...if you are irresponsible with it.

Well after that post I'm afraid to say that you've gone too deep for me to make any more worthwhile comments to that. I myself have only had 17 years on this planet and have yet to experience any real romance, most I've ever had was just mild infatuation which quickly fades and leaves you in pretty much the same state as before. However, I am fully aware of what romance means and I'd know if I experienced it. As sad as it may seem the books and other forms of media I've experienced, although no substitute to the real thing, has taught me the benefits and pitfalls of Romance and I can certainly see how people can fall into dead end relationships. I know how to be careful around it, but that doesn't mean you, me or anyone else will be able to see all the dangers until it's too late.

I didn't know we had established the difference between true romance and just romance lol....my bad.

When I say romance I do mean true romance...the kind that any would take years to find with someone or be capable of wielding. Yes emotions as a whole are extremely powerful and unpredictable...you have to know how to control them and how to rebound.

Even though I have only been on this planet for 20 years...I have had many hard learning experiences....especially when it comes to love and the feeling you get when you find someone who you feel can truly complete you.

And with what FB said I agree 100%...if you ever want a good example of that go listen to the song "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf lol....but basically you can lead yourself to believe you are in love through it's powerful illusions...then find yourself bound to someone that you can't truly respect nor love......that's the great trap that comes along with not knowing its power.

I still think it's the strongest and most dangerous...but I'm just one person going by what I have learned. Truly all emotions are deadly if you don't know how to handle them....but love is the hardest one to master and to keep in control....and finding the perfect someone who can counter balance that emotion is very very hard now....and it's getting harder...but the emotions that can flow through the heightened sensitivity love grants can really really be deadly.......or heaven on earth.

Well I agree with both of you in different aspects. Romance can do so many things in its initial stages, give you all sorts of conflicting emotions and experiences but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is where the Romance took you, whether it be a loving relationship with someone you will spend the rest of your life with, or a hurtful experience which you should look upon as one of life's lessons and take as much as you can out of it.

And yes, this topic has sudden;y become very deep.

I'm with FB. Romance is not the most powerful emotion. It is, in fact, one of the most troublesome states of being. It's fun, but it wears off. The real beauty and power of a loving relationship comes after, when two people learn to live with each other as human beings and not love gods.

The more powerful emotions would be things like anger, true love (which is not romantic love at all), compassion, hope and despair.

Dang, this topic got serious fast. XD I shall stop hammering y'all with my 26+ years of hard life experience any time now.

As for the follow-ups to the DOM series (which are known as DLG), they haven't been sketched out yet. I need to find the old chat logs that Chris and I had so I can draw them up.

I have seen it do the most damage to kids and those who did not know how to control it. Everything from suicide to basically becoming an empty shell....those are its dangers.......but on the other hands it can be the greatest feeling ever...for many reasons that don't have to be said.

I do agree that their are many many emotions.....powerful and not so powerful.....but such other strong emotions...like hate....anger....happiness....and faith......all of these can flow through the one channel that romance introduces...and amplifies based upon the relationship.

Yes their might be more powerful ones....but when romance is involved it greatly increases their effects upon the ones who try to wield it.

Exactly. Serious romantic relationships are incredibly rare in the young but I disagree with how much credit you give it. Sure it's special and can give you great things but I don't think it's the most powerful emotion, there are many others that top romance hands down. And although they end up hurting themselves it's a good thing; it's how people learn and grow so it's an enevitability that romance will hurt you at some point in your life.

Romance is the most powerful emotion that can either kill or save you....you shouldn't attempt to control it unless you are fully willing to accept its gifts and consequences....but many just rush right into it blindly not caring about the aftershock......they are not ready and they end up hurting themselves. Their is plenty of time in your life for romance...but you have to be willing to learn just what its dangers are before you control it.....and that comes with age.

A minor is anyone under sixteen here in the UK. Romance comes with age,you can't really expect the young to be thinking about that with their already chaotic minds. In ideal world they wouldn't enter relationships until they could support themselves anyway; just makes it easier for them in the long run.

I assume that bit where you said Cynder realises she has a thing for older dragons hasn't been drawn yet because as far as I've seen there's only five pages to your DOM comic. Of course I don't know if you've posted it anywhere else.
