I liked TEN's furies best...I'm a sucker for huge flashy destructive 'splosions.

DOTD's fury really irked me...I'm used to jumping in the air and then setting off my fury, but since it's now a lousy beam, I keep forgetting and have to aim downward to even hit anything. It takes so long to refill too.

I haven't played ANB for a while, and I don't remember the furies very clearly. But I did like how you could upgrade them.

No offense but I thought DOTD's fury sucked!
The one and ONLY fury in that game was a copy of dark spyros normal attack in the 2nd game....toatal rip off ,,,I wanted to see what new variety of fury they would come up with but I think they got lazy....

TEN kills because not only did they have good furys but the had an additional bounus fury witch kicked @$$!!! I really liked the earth one!

ANB It was pretty good because you could actually upgrade the furys witch was an AWSOME part of the game they kind of dropped in the next 2 games. I thought that was dum... giving us a taste of somthing good then taking it away from us... it wasn't so bad in TEN because of the Sweet bonus breath but when they completely fergot about elements in the third fury version... I almoast threw my tv out the window :-P

Im gonna go with TEN, the furies were more destructive and looked better to me. Although DOTD was pretty powerful to, but it was limited to a beam but thats it.

ANB to be bluntly honest, was the best. I liked how it charged, then -bam-, explosion the size of a hand-held nuke. I liked the sound effects and the raw power. Argueably, it was 'refined' over the course of the series, which makes sense (given Spyro gets more & more training, from various sources). So yeah, ANB for me.

I hope they take their time with the next one. For being made in a year, DotD was really good, but given more development time it could have been flat-out awesome.

If they decide to take their time and actually put some good quality effort into the next game then that's a good possibility.

It's a tough decision for me between ANB and TEN. I like big final moves, so DotD was a large letdown for me in terms of not having a big chilling awe-inspiring final explosion of damaging awesomeness XD

From ANB, I liked the Electric and Earth furies, and from TEN, I liked the Fire and Ice, although a combo of the Ice Furies from both would have been awesome (freeze the area while spearing it with those icicles).

The DotD Convexity Fury (?) was a nice touch with its limitless breathpower and health regeneration, plus the laser-like breath from TEN's Dark Spyro, but it really lacked the finishing feel that the explosive Fury attacks offered. The meteors from ANB were just freakin' awesome XD I kept cringing when I let that one off on the Ice King to kill him. (btw how many have noticed that when you fully upgrade Spyro's Fire Fury in ANB, Ignitus' Fire Fury is also upgraded if you play that file over again?)

I hope the next games bring back those explosions, and offer the DotD "Limit Break" (as I call it XD) as an optional outbreak. Like, have the purple gems fuel your Fury gauge while defeating enemies earns you the "Limit Break" energy. It would be good to have the Furies as an emergency fallback and the "limit break" as a power-up to be used in tough situations.

they should have at least made it less draining. But then again, it was REALLY powerful (I killed two large enemies in the burnt land withing 5 seconds), they didn't want us to go around, like a king of the game, owning everybody we saw instantly. They at least made it less 'All powerful'. The game would grow boring very quickly if we did have a Fury breath that lasted for Ages.

Yes I knew about that. Still not very exciting though because it drains your mana bar in about two seconds.

That was one of the things I actually liked about TEN. It's too bad that they didn't include that feature for both Spyro and Cynder in DotD.

If you get the three final peices of armour, you can unlock fury breath! YAY! that's pretty much as close as you'll get to that.

Yes they were def more entertaining to watch. DotD was very boring in that regard.

And also, you could see the differences in your fury every time it upgraded. I'll still never get over the ice or fire furies. Ice-covering yourself in a ball of sharp icicles and then firing them out all at once, and fire fury, watching as enimies burn, and meteors rain down on them.

I don't care about the amount of control you have over the fury, at least you had something different to look at each time in TEN...and it actually had to do with the elements.

It's hard to choose between DotD and TEN.... But the TEN Furies look much better, and there is more variety, so i'm going to have to go with TEN. But the DotD Fury does give you more freedom.

Edit: Also, The TEN Fury wipes out everyone even remotley close to it
