we just had another little earthquake just a few minutes ago. apparently there hasn't been any earthquakes where i live since 1980's .

Blizzards are awesome....despite the rather unsafe conditions that arise thanks to it lol....I can live with them.

ummmm 2 things top my list.... im up on a hill and well there is a ditch at the bottom and well one day it rained here in CO for 6 days straight and the flood went unto my back yard..... it was bad. other day was blizard that didnt stop for 4 days and snow was about 1 and a half yards deep.....

I forgot about the earthquake in the UK. However did you hear about that explosion in Hemel Hempsted in the UK Phoenix_Flyer?

I can remember that earthquake that happened in the UK last year, it was 5.2 on the richter scale. It was in the middle of the night and woke me up lol, I woke up and was breathing fast as you do when you are made jump. But I went straight back to sleep, as I was at swimming training at 5.30am. On the way to the pool I asked my Dad if something had happened last night, but he had no idea (it hadn't disturbed him). After training on the way home my Dad told me that there had been an earthquake. Yeah, I was pretty gobsmacked....
Other than that the worst I have been through is bad storms coming from the North sea, which often bring down trees. And, being on the coast, they bring some pretty bad wind and rain. But the town where I live isn't flat, its all cliffs and hills, so we get nothing bad in terms of flooding.

There was a massive fire in the Western Australian hills years ago, where I live. I was only seven at the time and it was really frightning. My family and I were about to evacuate because the fire got really close to my house. I remember the stampedes of Kangaroos and bush butterflies escaping and living in all the paddocks that weren't burnt down. It was terrible.

lol your lucky then last week it was so hot at least the pools were nice and cold (a little to cold if you ask me lol)

where i am in Australia i haven't had anything that bad except for the heat and then sudden cold

The worst that hit the U.K was probaly the floods in 2006 in the south, but where i live the worse things that have happened are the snow in February and also some strong wind a while back which brought a telegraph pole down.

The worst we have gotten around here are Icestorms....some pretty nasty ones.
