Well just basing it on the studio and people making it I can only assume that it's not going to be a good production, but that certainly doesn't rule out the possibility of it being good.

Like I said, we'll just have to wait and see.

Well I think the movie is either going to be an epic win or a complete flop. If they get the music right, make Spyro look epic and standing in rays of sunlight, good plot...maybe.

Ok, I won't argue anymore, I'm just saying that just because Eragon wasn't good, doesn't mean Spyro movie will be right? Maybe I'm just too gullible to notice it might actually stink.

Both of you shut it. Obviously movies are NEVER as good as books ever will be, you simply can't include every single aspect that a good story has...and that is why fictional works are the prime source of entertainment for most.

Some movies do still represent their literature counterparts well....but Eragon....does not. From an honest standpoint that movie was an executioner for the book.

Either way it's all opinionated and everyone is gonna believe what the want, but I also have a nice feeling in the pit of my stomach that the Spyro movie will not be very well received. The fans will love it sure...but it's still going to be a failure if it goes to the theaters.

Would have been much better for it to be DTDVD.

Anyways don't argue or I'll issue out warnings.

Actually smart-a** I did read all of the Eragon books thank you very much. And just a FYI, even if they screwed up Eragon, doesn't mean they'll do it to Spyro. Jeez!

I read the book and it's a hell of a lot better than the film. But just because they sort-of messed up with the Eragon film doesn't mean they'll do it this time.

ya the Eragon produced killed Eragon so bad. They have Saphira feathers,horns, and a small head. Also none of the actors fit the character description, They literally left out 65% of the book. Seeing what the movie spyro looks like is almost as bad as what they did to Sapheria. I can tell you now, Spyro is doomed :'(

Well i didnt lean to either of the possibilities, i was just explaining the bad aspects of the both solutions.

If we would be talking about that should they be making a movie, my answer would be a straight no. But when they are ALREADY making the movie, i can just keep my hopes up that it will be good.

They shouldn't be making a movie period. Spyro should stay as Spyro is...and that is as a video game. Trying to capitalize off this with a freaking movie was a ridiculous idea...but that's just me.
