Well yeah I wouldn't expect anything until well after this movie comes out...and even depending just on what they do with the movie or movie(s)...who really knows. Hopefully we can see another game sometime in 2010.

They're probably focusing on the Spyro movie, helping out. Maybe near the end of 2009 or next year, a new Spyro game will come out.

Well I will take it either way...I have enjoyed LoS for what it is...as I loved the older games for what they were. At least someone has took the character under their wing as opposed to leaving it out in limbo. Anyways we will see what happens in the next coming months...but for now I don't see Sierra doing anything differently.

That or if Sierra is willing to sell it to some other Game Co. But I can't imagine any one else making it though, or having the privilege or pride of owning Spyro... oh well, I guess we can do is pray.

Well if it's a rumor going around the forums then I would be very quick to disprove it....since most of this forum is much more bent towards the originals then the start of such a rumor would be very believable. Anyways as far as I know they want to continue with what they have....and unless someone other then Sierra owns the rights to Spyro then that's what we will get.

Whoops, my bad, heh heh. I got too excited when I heard that they were going to make the games like they used to after TLOS trilogy that I cut the rest of your post off.

Thanks for the link, Aura. It'll be interesting to see the continuation of Spyro's story, I think. Although I'd have no idea what the antagonist or plot of the next game/s will be. Also... (Dawn of the Dragon spoiler)

How well has Dawn of the Dragon been doing in sales? If it's been selling pretty well, then I guess there's a good chance that Sierra will keep their word on making more games.

Aicebo's wrong about new Spyro games being like the old ones. In truth, they will be set after the LoS trilogy.

YEs, There are more games confimed, but they are probably going to be LOS. theres alot more evidence that they will be TLOS than old style games.

Most should have known this by now....but yes that's what they clearly stated on the Sierra Forum. It all depends on just what Sierra has in mind for the next game.....but seeing as how they still own the character rights why would they want to change what they have already set in motion...I just don't see them doing that.

What are you talking about? Sierra already confirmed that there will more Spyro games set after DotD with the same characters. The ending of DotD is obviously open for a sequel after it.

Without a doubt, there will be more Spyro games in the future. The entire purpose of the trilogy was to re-establish the characters and the world in a way that would allow for growth and expansion. We’ve only scratched the surface.

Are there not already like....ten other topics about this....anyways this is not the last game in this series. It may be the last under the LoS name...but Sierra has already stated that if DotD performed well enough that they would wish to continue with the same characters and the same story that they have already introduced.

There will def be more games. TLoS was meant to be a reboot to the series,a fresh start. And they've def sold enuf to make more.
