Finally. The war was over. The land had been saved from one of the most
vicious of all creatures, and is not recovering from this miraculous feat.
The grass was greener than ever before, the trees were growing as tall as
the hills, and the streams were flowing in such a beautiful sense that one
could not help but smile at this newly replenished world.

Exodus lived on with a happy life. He had found himself a soul mate, and
such a mate that was found in a spectacular place, full of silver and gold.
The Dragon City. They lived out a joyous life, having a quarter of a dozen
offspring. The family lived in a grassy cave under a beautiful waterfall, not
that far from a place called the Enchanted Forest. No enemies were left on
this planet. The world was finally free.

Until Exodus found out that one of his children began spitting out small
bursts of black smoke, his eyes turning purple.

Many years later, when the incident had been twisted by storytellers beyond recognition...

The leaves rustled around the forest. A figure passed the slightly blackened trees. It stopped at a certain spot. The figure approached a nearby boulder and pushed it slowly aside. It stepped down the steps steadily, as if savouring every movement. It approached a coffin in the centre of the underground room. The figure carefully removed the crust remains of a flower, and replaced it. The figure left, but halted at the steps.

"Thank you Spirit..."

Spirit's life pretty much went back to normal after that, she was running away from countless dragons trying to kill her. She learned one thing though...literally, Always stick to your plan, otherwise, you might miss something. She thought about them often...Dio, Exodus, Draco...she was walking by the river one time and she found a dragon trying to kill himself, she ran over and stopped him.
