Much needed post..although I'm a few years behind. The newer games feel much too harsh and less like a mystical fantasy filled with corny humor.

So correct me if im wrong Activison is now publishing spyro by buying sierra, but however sierra are making the actual games and Activision are just really supplying the money so they can be made.

That is partly true. I check the Activision site and they rarely make games of their own. (Technically, not all the Spyro games were listed...specifically the GBA games, SL, AHT, ETD, and TLoS were the only ones on the list. That doesn't seem to mean anything though...forgot to put the originals on there. Then again, they forgot to put MechWarrior 2 on there as well. They published that.) I think I can safely say they only publish games. Sierra was listed as a studio/developer for several games, which we already know, make or assist making games.

I better get back to working on my video here...

I forget, aren't they just a publisher? Because they technically they wouldn't be making games.

Activision have taken over in some sort of form which is good as they are a good games company.

Although I personally like the LOS series, I don't really want it to be continued. It's finished, I think they should either hand it over to another company (an experienced one of course) or do something completely different. I would personally like to see something entirely different now. Either that or Insomniac and Sierra teaming up- which is pretty much out of the question unfortunately, as we've discussed...
I think they need the right balance to keep both fans of the new and old Spyro (and people like myself who are fans of both) happy. But then again that may not be possible...

I think that too. They will continue with the same universe, but with a different name, not "legend of Spyro"

I think it will continue on i think this series, not as LOS, but under a different name continuing with the story.

I Just hope Sierra drop the series sooner or later, because I hate the direction they are taking the series/ they're reactions to fans

Ok so that means even though we know that insomniac isn't going to come back to spyro, whats the betting people will still want it to happen, i admit i do but i know it will never happen.
