that looked more like the older elders who trained Malefore

No, those spirits looked eerily like Ignitus... Anyway, ratchet, little inconsistency in what you said. You said that Ignitus told Spyro those words, where there have been many, but those were Malefor's words, not Ignitus'. Malefor could very well have been lying. I mean, I prefer to think of him as a master of deception and manipulation, and many of his actions in the games support my opinion.

I'm quite sure that there have been more purple dragons than Spyro and Malefor.
Remember Malefor's "death" ? All those purple dragon spirit that flew around him? I guess that was other purple dragons that failed in their quest to stop Malefor.

i reckon that malefor might of been lieing when he said there had been more of their kind cause the chroniclar i think said about malfor being the first purple dragon so he would know so i think malefor was lieing to confuse spyro

whether Malefor is telling the truth or not, no one can guess. Maybe Ignitus is just saying that to Get Spyro to destroy Malefor. But no evidence shows this is true nor that it is false.

Did Malefor say that there HAVE been many purple dragons?
or There HAVN'T been.

I'm doing to write a fan fiction to take a break from Dark Oppression and I might need to know in order to make it acurate.
