I really liked it but it didn't have the magic that Gateway to Glimmer had.

Spyro 3 was such a wonderful game... Even though mine was bugged up. It saddens me when I hear the Sorceress' real theme on youtube while when I actually fight her it plays the Sunrise Spring tune. But moving beyond that, I loved it. I can't really decide whether three or two is my favorite; two had more adventure, but at the same time, I think they put a smidge more effort into the humor, creativity, etc. in three. It took me quite a while to track down all those eggs... And I loathe Spike, for the record. I nearly always have to face him twice at minimum to beat him. I liked most of the egg-finding things, though... Except for that battle turret thing in the egyptian place. That game was murder.
Overall, I give it 9/10.

ok kl thats my favourite enemy as i found it the hardest the others r simple!!! well done to insomniac 4 creating a challenging enemy!! *claps* now im hoping 4 an all round challenging spyro as it takes me a bit less than 2 days to complete each one at a time

well th eboss i find the most challenging and therefore the one i like the most is the one wiv the hammer thing is that spike or scorch? i cant remember either way it was a kl enemy to face all TLOS enemies and enemies from other spyro games were just to easy whereas this one is more challenging which is wot i want a more challenging spyro game

The bosses were probably too good in spyro 2, they raised the "good boss" bar too high. It was quite weird that spike was harder than sorceress... and third boss (cant remember name) was so easy that you didnt really need any platformer-boss tactics in it... they tried to make it hard though. And sorceress? Come on. Spike is the only boss you should die on... the game was still very good.

If you disagree with them not being good, try comparing them with the bosses from spyro 2... you will see a great difference.

I agree with that. I still like spyro 1 the most. Metalhead was the only "near-traditional" platformer-boss in the game.

I think that this was the best game, mostly because I loved the homeworlds more than in Ripto's rage, secondly because I liked the storyline. Bianca was a fantastic character (more so than Elora *sp* in my oppinion) I found collecting dragon eggs more interesting than orbs and talismans, due to the fun little animations. I loved the skateboarding with hunter, and the idea of buying playable pet characters.

I loved this game to bits. I got it for Christmas one year, and I remember playing it for the first time. I love how there is so much to do compared to the new games, and I love the characters! Bianca was pretty cool, and Hunter was awesome. I mean, if you look what they've done to him since, you'll notice just how awesome he was in this game. It's long, but not too hard. I also loved to swim, and use the power-ups like the flying power and the fireball power. :3 I will forever miss the days when Spyro the dragon was pixelated... xD

I reckon the bosses in Spyro 1 were the worst and the bosses in Riptos Rage were the best. I think that Spyro 3's bosses were in between them.

I think that this is the best game in the Spyro series. I love the levels and it has a great storyline. Playing as other characters and skateboarding is really fun as well. Overall I'd give this game a 9.6 out of 10.
