I think the new villain shouldn't be a dragon. It's just too...unoriginal for it to be dragons vs. dragons. Originality is what made the first three games so great, and not one of them had a dragon villain. So, I think I'd like to see a female villain who's anything but a dragon. :3

Edit/ But I don't want it to get all cat-fighty between her and Cynder. That would be lame.

Maybe somebody from Cynder's past? Somebody who trained with her yet didn't make it - but is back to finish what the Dark Master started?

... I kinda like TornWings's idea, with a kind of rebel force or something trying to attack the dragons for vengence... I vote apes. They had a bit of a vendetta before LoS really took place anyway. But I dunno, anyone's guess, right?

Cliches are inevitable. It's nearly impossible to create something from scratch that does not include a cliche of some kind or another. That's just something that is omnipresent in a sense. Possible, but not many have the patience to go for something completely new....if you can think of anything.

ahh but cliches are what seem to be the media's 'Thing' nowadays but the entire idea involving malefor is over with, it would be beating a dead horse, and we all know how well that goes. But yeah, old spyro is good where it is, no need to mess with it anymore

As I have said before, I don't believe they will have anything to do with more from the older games. Not unless they collapse to huge fan support or whatever. The best bet for them is to bring in something that is brand new and fresh...because involving Malefor is just too cliched now.....even though we already have plenty of that.

well, going on the ways of new additions to any completed game trilogy....i would say that they might add a new twist into the story and bring in either 1) a brand new never before seen character to be epic evil, or 2) bring back someone from a previous game, like ember (just an example) or Red, or ANYONE really, and make them evil just because they can

Doesn't matter because A. She would never be a bad guy....and B. She isn't even included in the LoS games.

Then again I think seeing her as a bad guy would be interesting. Just trying to see how they would make such an idiotic personality fit the billing.

Ember's not too hard to mess up. Unless they somehow turned her green? Then I'd think they're insane.

I can see Ember being evil as a big joke. She just wouldn't fit that seeing as how she has a hard enough time trying to be a good guy

You know that would certainly be possible I suppose....I'm wondering though if she had given birth to another purple dragon, if she gave him away to protect him or he was stolen to give him a future.
