The only reason I started reading them was because everyone at my school was reading them, in fact, I was never a big fan of romance. I kind of decided to see what all the hype was about. When I first found out that it was something about vampires i thought "Okay that sounds kinda weird" but then i went to Walmart and saw them there so I decided to read a page or two. I just flipped to some random page an read one paragraph before I decided "Okay I have got to get this!"

I was shocked by how good it was when I heard people talking about it it sounded like a pile of crap but when i read it i totally loved it. BUT i am NOT one of those insanely obsessed fans like the people at my school

Breaking Dawn is kinda weird and gives a little too much information and gets really boring in some parts, Eclipse is perfect, New Moon is plain old depressing and boring, and twilight is great. Stephenie's partial draft of Midnight SUn is outstanding even though its full of mistakes

All in all its a saga worth reading (in my opinion)

I've been reading New Moon lately, and I guess the series isn't that bad. It's actually just some of the kids at school that drive me insane.

Though the kids are (for some reason) calming down about it. And strangly it's making a difference about how I think of the books.

Actually there's a catalogue of repeated stuff in the book that is 100% accurate. It mentions the ridiculous adjectives too. There is some cursing in that link, so watch out though, but it's a funny read.

It touches on a lot of sloppy things I kept wondering too. Why in God's name does a vampire enroll in high school? Wouldn't somebody be suspicious over the fact that their records show they've graduated a million times? Wouldn't somebody notice Dr. Cullen's RESUMÉ????

Well, I'm going to borrow them from my little sister's friend just so I can have another new, overrated thing to make fun of. Bashing TLoS constantly is getting kind of old. =P

Ahhhh, but Edward is so perfect, angelic, god-like, beautiful and scintillating. It's obvious who she should pick.

Meh, maybe I should shut up since I haven't actually read it yet, but I've heard these particular adjectives are highly overused.

That's not the only thing in the book...some "evil" ("real") vampires come along and they try to find her and kill her, etc...The first book was good but the second (New Moon) was just a waste of time. All she does is be all sad about him leaving and she spends time with Jacob...yeah boohoo...though I don't blame her I guess...and during the whole third one she was all like "OMGOMGOMG WHICH ONE SHOULD I STAY WITH EDWARD OR JACOB OMGOMGOMG THIS IS SO HARD WAH".

I haven't read the books yet, but I've heard they're absolutely awful. The negative reviews are hilarious to read; Bella sounds like the very definition of a bratty Mary Sue. (Is it true that she faints while being kissed? XD) And what's so interesting about a book that's completely focused on how wonderful some guy is? =P I like Harry Potter, and this sounds nothing like Harry Potter.

They're probably the worst obsessed fans you've seen. So obsessed it's annoying... Usually I'm ok with people being obsessed but.....

My point entirely. Its akward really... I mean, just looking at them and how far they go as far as obsession. It makes other people look bad.
