Volt, Hearing faint voices, as the footsteps were getting closer, wandered out to the edge of the Grove of trees. Poking her face out, She spotted a strange pair of dragons. "Hey, maybe those two know where the others went!", She whispered to herself, remaining within the tree-line, attempting to not make a sound as they walked past her..

OOC: *brain dead* Yes, I got writers block at that point in my post.

"Stop!" Ivy hissed. Vinna stopped dead in her tracks.
"What? Is it another Dreadwing?" Ivy shook her head.
"Someone's behind us." Vinna turned her head and noticed that they were being followed! A purple dragon with another.
"Two dragons."

Spyro and Amber wandered around for a bit before seeing another dragon a little ways away from them. "Are they dangerous like that dreadwing?" Spyro asked. Amber shook her head.
"It's another dragon, like us. And I think there's a dragonfly, too! Let's go meet them," Amber replied, crawling through another bush.

Ivy flew against a tree. This dreadwing was strong. But not that strong! Ivy flew at the dreadwing, and, before it could attack again, she rammed it head-on. It flipped, doing several backflips before it landed on the ground with a BANG! and dissapeared.
"Shows that they're not as tough as they seem." Ivy smirked.
"What were you doing!?" Vinna shouted, zooming up and grabbing Ivy's horns. "You could've been killed."
"Yeah. Could've! But I'm not, am I?"

Elsewhere in the forest, a small golden-yellow dragon popped out of the underside of a giant mushroom tree, landing head-first on the ground, her large horns breaking her fall with a thud. Spotting a dreadwing up in the sky circling around, she quickly jumped upwards, slowing time. "Looks like I got some work to do."
Flying above the dreadwing who'd still not spotted her, Volt closed her wings and dived down on it in a whirlwind of electricity. "Hope you like the taste of blood!"
After breaking several of the dreadwing's bones and leaving it to die, she wandered off in search of everyone, who had seemed to disappear over-night."Sure seems dark out here....Where's everyone gone?"
Said the small dragoness, walking her way through a tight grove of thin trees as the sun was going down; small beams of light still showing through the highest reaches of the forest. Suddenly, she heard foot-steps.
"What was that?", She said, gasping and turning her head in every which way. Suddenly, her eyes widened. The sound was getting closer...

Meanwhile, Ivy ran through the brush silently, not making a sound. A small black dragonfly buzzed quietly beside her.
"What are we-" The dragonfly began to ask.
"Ssshhh!" Ivy growled and continued running swiftly. "Just be quiet and stay down." Ivy stopped. She had heard a crunching noise. She peered with her ivy-colored eyes left and right without moving her head. She spotted a dreadwing out of her left eye. She turned around slowly, still not making a sound, and leaped!

The little dragon gazed up at a couple of trees as he pulled himself up and out of the stream. He looked around and felt the dirt under his claws. He saw something move in a bush. Then he heard a screech of terror.

A blue-grey dragon came rushing out of the bushes and hid under a tree. The little purple dragon looked up and saw a large bat-like creature flying in the air. "Get down!" the other dragon said, noticing the purple dragon.

"What's going on!?" the purple dragon whispered.
"It's a dreadwing. It want to kill us!" the other whispered back.

The dreadwing eventually gave up and left.
"Who are you?" the purple dragon asked, "What are you, anyway? What am I?"
"You're a dragon, just like me...wait, you don't know anything, do you?" the other asked. The purple one shrugged. "Well, I'm Amber. What's your name?"
"I don't have a name," he replied, looking down.
"Hmm...let's call you Spyro! I think it suits you."

And with that the two went off to try and find some help and shelter.
