Well I have played a demo of the third one lol...and I don't think it's that bad...but I really don't care if a game is like another one...just not something I really fret over...a game is a game lol...I'm going to enjoy it otherwise.

Again I wouldn't really know lol..I have never played any of them....but I'm going to go rent the original...might as well seeing as how I have time to kill...then I'll see if it's anything like DotD lol..

oh btw the new pop game isn't really a kick off of the series its a new
cartoony version of pop its not really the original 3 games

Not a bad idea. That same "hey, maybe I should catch up with this series" thought was what brought me to the TLOS.

Who knows.....I really wish that I could read developers minds and all...I have not really gotten into the PoP games too much...I should prolly go out and buy it...because all I have seen are screenshots and such...they are coming out with the fourth one soon...lol...I have some catching up to do.

anyways I had recently beat POP : TTT (i know its rated M) but i'm just saying the backgrounds of the far off buildings and structures,
they have the same graphical "thing" to it. Plus all the coincidences was
between the similarities of the two games, oh yeah and I just remembered
the dagger in time(a.k.a the thng that allows you to go in slow-mo or back in time
is kinda like the thing in TLOS: TEN Dragon time but i think that wasn't on
purpose though
but i do think that DOTD thing was but we'll probably never know...

They both have a hood and cloak, which is pretty much standard equipment for anyone in their position. Altair's an assassin, Hunter's some sort of ranger. Both need mobility so they can't wear any sort of armor as it would slow them down too much. They also both need to keep a low profile, hence the hood.

Though having Hunter as some sort of warrior in full chain mail would've been interesting to see...I guess it doesn't really go with the fact he's a cheetah.

If I remember right that post is now locked...but no I didn't really see them too resemblent of each other...but that's just me...I really don't care if several characters look like each other...we will never really know just what the developers were thinking.

well i looked at the post where some dude said that hunter looked just like
the dude in assasins creed , which is made by ubisoft, who also made POP

Well I'm not too big a fan of PoP...but to be honest I don't really noticed similarities between games very much...I'm a little too busy actually enjoying the game lol....but that's just me...

And thank you for proving my point about college students lol...

err... I suppose I should try to be on topic...

So any other similarities have you noted? I've only played the first PoP, and while like that game DotD has wall-running etc., it's pretty simplistic, you only use it a few times, wheras in PoP, it was...most of the game.

lol it's ok...watch this.....DotD really is an enjoyable game despite the fact it includes the elements of several other games...which to no surprise really doesn't matter because I have yet to find a game that doesn't include a similer element to another....there you go lol.....but if someone said that to me at that age I would have prolly given them the finger or something lol...

Heck at 13 years old you should be living it up! (and just to give you a hint, not even half the students in college these days have any idea about what they want to do) so don't let it bother ya lol...

to tell you the ttruth when i was getting ready to go to the eighth grade earlier
this year, a bunch of people asked me what i was going to do for the future
i said i haven't decided yet and they got all like dude wht are you doing
wasting around time and stuff start thinking about your future!
