I've seen the island and tried to fly to it multiple times but never succeeded. I'm playing my teachers YOTD right now but I have to give it back to her soon.

A hacked version. The game would have no way of knowing if it was burned, since technically it's just a copy.

I guess Spyro 3 really stepped up on hacked versions of the game. Somewhere in the game, if you are running a hacked version, that fairie tells you that the game may act up, and recommends you buy a legit version. I know this is so, because when browsing through the cd's contents, I came across the audio track.
