Keep hitting it and gather the fury energy once your done unleash it and use Spyro's purple breath and Cynder's black breath who ever you have battling Malefor. Once that part of and just keep blasting away don't worry you are doing every thing right but remember to also watch out for his attacks hope that helps.

Once it is full, go into fury mode and blast him with the fury breath.
