You can't change characters in 2 player... Just switch the controllers if you guys want to switch that badly...

ok so i press + but what i mean is when i play with a friend i cant change from spyro to Cynder even if i press +

Press the + button on the Wiimote. And that should do it.

Which version do you have?
It's L2 on the PS2 version, but that's the only one I know.
