Use Spyro's lightening breath to zap him every time it looks like he's about to strike (this will force him to re-start his move). In the times between zapping him, use your strong attack button (triangle on the PS2) and just melee the snot out of him. He's a troll, btw.

The big grass looking guy? Use your flame breath, it will catch him on fire, then do my favorite combo on those guys, do about 4 hits (going from light to heavy) and flame him for a second, continue. Once you run out of energy, dodge whenever he starts to attack and lay it on him.

Spyro's electric breath will stunn it for only a short while, while he is stunned melee him!

Are you using breath attacks or melee? If you're meleeing, stay in the air as much as you can, as it's attacks mostly hit the ground.
There's some gem clusters on the edges of the area you're in, use them to keep your health/energy up.

how do you beat that bi green guy.ive been goin at it for 20 minutes he just wont die? o_O o_O
