This is purely the weirdest video i've see this year.

How humorous something is is in direct proportion with how hurt someone may/does become.

It does still disturb me that they would show the tape normally as if there were no danger without even a little message of "don't screw around like these idiots, komodos are serious business." Those guys probably didn't know those dragons could bite a huge chunk out of human and then eat him or her whole, and I doubt anyone would have learned anything from that tape. My best guess, the censorship guys don't do any *bleep* research.

Man, I remember when my friend was visiting and we put on some America's Funniest Home Videos, and there was a video where some guys are camping, and the guy who's recording suddenly sees a komodo dragon approaching the tent where another guy is sleeping. Instead of shooing it away or something he CONTINUES TO RECORD and lets the reptile go into the tent and everything and he's laughing while his friend shows a struggle in the tent and then escapes unharmed. My friend was all like "HAHAHA HE ALMOST DIED, HOW FUNNY" sarcastically and then my husband makes the equally sarcastic response of "hey man, remember that time we killed our friend? Good times, good times" because komodo dragons are no laughing matter. That guy in the tent could have died.

I find it more disturbing that the station even agreed to show that tape, laugh at it with the audience, and not even put a disclaimer of "HEY, THIS IS DANGEROUS, NOBODY ELSE DO THIS." I can understand why people wouldn't try the things on fictional shows, but AFHV has real situations that they make light of and now everybody's going to think it's ok to prank someone by putting a komodo dragon in their room or something. I mean even Jack*** and Mythbusters has a disclaimer of "don't try this at home you idiots."

But he didn't die.  So it really doesn't matter.
