And yes , swimming in the air is plain fun and allow to do others glitches that can be done with a cheating device but without really need this cheating device (see the link)

Theif Catching (The diffrent way)-Icy Peak

I couldn't be botherd to catch the theives while running so I decided to take the advanced way.
Go into that portal that leads to the Theif place and you will see to theives. (You must have not beaten them first.) Anyway, take the Supercharge ramp (on the right side) and Supercharge on another right side and then take a sharp turn left and you'll be in a cave. Go up those sparkles thingy and go on that mountain. Then you can glide to that platform and if your timing is just right you can get to the platform, flame the red theif and get a skill point. If not then you can headbash him.
Then go in the cave again and get the other theif in the yellow suit. (you can get him from the platform you killed the Red Theif) The best way is to Headbash on him. This will save you from not charging those pesky little theives.

Haha, I've never been able to truly try this but the funny thing about this cheat is that it's possible to kill both thieves at the same time and totally glitch your game for a few seconds. I'll directly quote this from a member in the somethingawful forums:

If you supercharge just right, it's possible to kill both egg thieves at the same time because one of them jumps through the air. Don't ask me how to repeat it because it was one of those 'freak coincidence I have no idea how it happened' things. Since you get the egg as soon as you kill the thief, if you kill both thieves at the same time you earn two eggs at the same time.

Do you know what happens if you get two eggs at the same time in this game? It plays both [dragon baby] animations at the same time overlayed on top of each other, meanwhile all the colours screw up and the textures on the floor and wall all go to hell. Then there's a really loud beeping, the screen goes black, and Spyro 3 has a good hard think about what just happened, before spitting you out of the supercharge area with both eggs in your inventory and no negative side-effects.

I have played YOTD today and I realised some really cool glitches and shortcuts. One is where you don't have to pay moneybags and so on.

Don't pay Gems:-Spooky Swamp

Here's a really great one.
For this one, you don't have to pay Moneybags. This is where we go to Spooky Swamp in Midday Gardens.
Moneybags is rubbish at Haiku and we can't be botherd to pay gems right? Exactly.
When you get on the way to him though, you can see that Firefly at the end of the level. (If you can't then you have either payed Moneybags and went to the end of the level. Jump in the water with the Piranhas and then they should bite you making Spyro leap up in the air. Then glide to the end of the level. Easy. I love going to that door and going
"HEY, LOOK WHO'S BEHIND THIS DOOR!"

Swimming Freely:-Evening Lake

This is the most discussed glitch on Spyroforum or is it? Anyway I will say it in my own words. It is also known as Air Swimming.
First, swim into the Portal which is required 50 Eggs in the Fireworks Factory. I know this sounds silly but it does work. Jump in the lava until Sparx is gone and then you need to press START and EXIT LEVEL. (You need to get the timing just right as you will fill the vibration on your controller when the timing is perfect but only if the vibration is ON.
Then shoot up to the water and you should be swimming in the air, keep trying if you can't. This glitch is very fun as you can swim really high up in the air and you will be basiccly lost in the air lol. But if you go too far out strangely enough you will die in the sky, weird.
When you go past the Whirlygig/Rocket whatever current transport you have you will see the inside of that Whale that swallowed you. If you go inside it then you are stuck! You can never get out. Also there is a really cool thing I always wanted to see, Hunter's Cage.
