I once thought that the profile viewing was caused by my computer/loptop.

99% of things that go wrong on spyroforum are SERVER SIDE, so its nothing to do with your computer.

Has anyone else had trouble with using the image uploader?

Also, SR, is there anything I can do to help? I'm probably too much of a newb to be of any use, but if there's anything I can do, just let me know.

Nope, everyone seems to have that problem. ( I have Vista too, but everyone else says they don't work. )

Apparently, there are still many things that need fixing.
