It's because Ember is the only pink dragon that people like her. That, and the fact that she was, like, the first ever girl dragon.

I agree with that statement. I never thought anyone was overrated. Cynder, though she is a sweet character, I think has gained a huge following in a short span of time. I never thought Ember was overrated. I always thought she was generally overlooked/forgotten. I adore her, and peaople may question why. I always thought, had it not been for the original company selling its rights, her and Flame would have become more prominent characters, like Hunter.

I agree. I think that the only reason she has so many fans is because she is the only girl in the TLOS series. I don't like her because I don't reckon she has much personality and she just seriously annoys me.

I agree with that statement. I never thought anyone was overrated. Cynder, though she is a sweet character, I think has gained a huge following in a short span of time. I think that cynder is the most overated. She only has like 5 lines in each game yet everyon loves her.

Embers probably number two, Cynder's number 1 cause she's the most popular Spyro character thats not Spyro, even though Hunter for one, has got much more lines than her. Not to mention she's a mary-sue dark dragon.
Ember on the other hand is probably supposed to be a parody of Mary-sue's. Reguardless, shes overated because shes gone way too many fans for the one line she had

As fior overrated it would have to be EMber. her appearance in Hero's tail was brief, and extremely annoying. a total flirt, who Spyro- from his expressions wants nothing to do wiith. Spyro at least in LOTS has shown a friendly interest in Cynder, nothing of the sort in A Hero's Tail.

I believe same. Ember reminds me of some chick, 2 years younger than
me, that has a massive crush on me (say 4-5 years), and always followed
me around (at church, too!). I came close to falling for her a few times,
but she was a wad of ... I stop there. The rest of the story gets a bit
personal.

Cynder acts like the mature female in the world that actually respects
Spyro. She doesn't follow him around or crush on him. She isn't his
enemy. People need to lay off about the dumb "Spyro-X-Cynder" thing.
They need to realize that some people are meant to be friends. When
they grow older, say 20s or 30s (dragon years), they could mate up and
have eggs. But people need to lay off about the "Spyro-X-Cynder" deal.

But yeah, and now people try to say "OMG I'M SO DARK" and stuff.
"Dark" people don't make fake stories about depression or call themselves dark.

I always pictured her as a quiet, sarcastic, feminist jerk with almost always a frown or uninterested facial expression if she were done right. Pretty much her evil form in ANB except with good intentions and not under mind control. I know it sounds like a very unpleasant character at first glance, but I think it would be awesome.
