I've got several emails from Doppel as well telling me a different story from what you guys are saying. I think there could've been a misunderstanding, and some things that Doppel saw as harmless or just "testing" might've been perceived as a personal attack against the site.

dont be too quick to believe doppel either, since he's the one who's been banned then of course he'll say it wasnt as bad as people say, or that he didnt do what theyre saying, theres no use defending him until we get some shred f evidence

and in saying that there's no point condemning him until we get evidence supporting that

and we're talking here because someone mentioned doppel got banned, since this hadnt been mentioned anywhere else (to my knowledge) this became the center of information, besides its not like anyone else was using this thread, we're saving space, recycling, its economic

its in my nature to know all sides of the story, so far ive got all of you telling me what you think/know happened, and i got an e-mail from doppel saying something that he did one thing but not another

what id really like to see is the actual occurrence, where was this spam? in a PM? where did he state he was planning something on this private website of his? i cant access any of these things to see them with my own eyes (i dont know what doppels website is called)

He used Tor to create multiple accounts with which to send insulting PMS and create insulting threads about Spyrorocks. He taught others how to do so.

dont take this as doubt or anything, i realise it probably happened whilst i was offline, but is there any reason most people (it seems) havnt seen these threads

heck I havnt even seen an official notice about doppel's ban with explanation from SR, I also would have thought anything he said would have made the wall of shame but despite a new item up there that mentions him briefly

i appreciate people telling me what he's apparently done, i just havnt seen any examples of his misbehaviour, and prior to this ban i did notice him and Aicebo having a tiff on spyrochat, i was wondering if that was something to do with it

now, if he had been insulting admin of this forum on this forum, itd make sense, but in my opinion its really none of spyrorocks or the moderators concern what is written on another site, as insulting as it was.

if that were the case then youre suggesting i could be banned for insulting spyrorocks in real life, the only difference is he can't find out unless he was in the immediate vicinity

so was there another reason or was it just a personal grudge?

Whatever he may have appeared on the forums publicly, he had multiple personalities, hence the name "Doppelgangergang". [/sub]

yeah, I mean, I probably had just as many, if not more clashes with Doppel than anyone here, but I have trouble imagining him doing something bad enough to involve a permaban

He most likely did it because of some instances involving some of his friends and SR.

seriously, perma banned? is there a record of what he did that was that bad?

I think it had something to do with making insulting PMs, as well as using some kind of program (Tor?) that probably helped him do something mischievous; I don't know the exact details. I've never envisioned Doppel as a bad guy; I'm really itching to know what this other side of him is like.
