You know, I actually thought Spyro's parents were those blue dragons that stand behind Spyro and wave after you kick Gnasty Gnorc's butt in the first game. One is evidently female...

this is what i think... only a purple dragon can be born from a purple dragon correct? and by my guess...either his mom is a purple dragon or there was something else that -=forgets again=- Darn it...

Try Spyro's Grandmother..My theory is comlicated....Malfeors daughter ran away and hide..Got frozen..Meet a dragon..You know what..Spyro was created..Also in my theory there are two spyro's TLOS spyro as Himself and Orginial Spyro as TLOS spyro's older brother...(That might well work that idea)

I'm pretty sure that Malefor was sealed away in Convexity long before he could um....get it on with whoever Spyro's mother is.

You will never know who Spyro's father is, I truly don't believe it will ever or should ever be revealed. I think it should stay that way.

And for a couple members who keep posting little responses that are basically spam please stop doing so, I'm getting sick of seeing them.

I personally think his parents are dead.

Not sure if it has been stated officially, but the game implies (at least to me) that many dragons have died due to Cynder and Gaul. Some may theorize that they're in hiding somewhere, with other dragons, and will never know who their son is.

I like that idea better than Ignitus being the daddy. Who's to say dragons pass along traits like we humans do? Like cats, they sometimes bear no resemblance to the parents whatsoever. So I'm not buying the whole "Spyro looks like Ignitus thing." Could be similar character models for all we know.
I think he is his "unbiological" father though, he's the closest Spyro had to a dragon father.

Gah! I wish some of the developers would clear it up, but maybe they wanted us to think about it eh?

Guess that if Ignitus was really Spyro's father he should have known! Better if he is not his biological father but rather his mentor, his godfather... Now that his the Crhonicler...

It would be sad too, because for now, Spyro doesn't even think Ignitus is alive...He was spared and is the new Chronicler.

Ignitus could contact Spyro with a dream so he can visit him... :-P
