I'd say that if i played the games i would see her as just another character to talk to when you need help in the game.e.g about where to go

I've never supported character bashing myself, it seemed kinda harsh. I mainly refrain from doing it in case someone likes that character and gets offended by my comment. But, everbody's entitled to thier own opinion here. X3 But I support Ember.

Really, the only thing that sorta irked me was that one line she said in AHT, when she ended it with "'cause you like me." But, the other lines were fine, IMO.

I'm not sure why everyone makes such a big deal out of her since her appearance was so brief. (I refer to both the haters and lovers.) The only thing I find bothersome is that for a pink dragon, which is an awesome color, her design could have been way better.

Otherwise, I'm not really sure why anyone should hate her so much. She was never intended to be a love interest, as you can see by the DS game, so what's the problem? A Mary-Sue? I don't think so. We didn't see her enough in the game to know her true colors, and sure I guess everyone thinks a pink sugary princess-type character is a Mary-Sue, but not really. Mainly because Spyro isn't head-over-heels for her, he actually seems to find her bothersome, so that pretty much breaks it. (Or so I assume from that "Uhh..." ) If it's because she's annoying, I don't see how? She seems to be a simple little girl with a crush who you talk to a few times in the game, and most of those out of your own will. At least she's not following you around everywhere going "SPYRO, SPYRO", or constantly interrupting your playing with a helpful hint ALA Navi, so I really see no reason to find her annoying.

I actually thought she was kind of funny and her pudgy face and feet are cute, and I love her blue eyes and the heart at the tip of her tail, but I don't really "like" her because she's hardly been in the game at all.

I dont partiularly like ember tha much any more. But when you see a character you loved when you were younger get bashed, It makes you feel uneasy.
I'm totally against character bashing. Even if they arent a great character, It's no fair to fans if you go around yelling "So and so SUX!!111222!!!!" Why, when I was 'bout seven I broke out in tears when I read something somebody wrote online about how they would like to rip Ember's brains out and beat her dead body to oblivion. So yeah, character bashing=not nice.

So, my opinion is that is they but a little more effort into her character she could have been more interesting. Girly-girl, and pink, but she could have been helpful and more interesting. Drawing her is fun, though ^^

You can have your opinions about Ember, but please don't be so harsh. Not only is it inappropriate, some people like the character, you know. [/sub]
