No, Ferrets are in the same family as weasels. See Mustelids.

My cousin's girlfriend has one, and it's really cute. Her name is Miso. She has a strange fetish for foam though.

I used to have two... Diamond (girl) and Blake (male) and they were the SWEETEST!!!! Diamond would always give me kisses and Blake... He was just rascally.

Do any of you have ferrets? I just got a baby that was born in April this morning. I'll post some picks of her here later.

Her name is Saphira.
