Even so, I wouldn't want to follow U.S. laws if lived in Europe. Many members don't know what the amendments are. Why would you expect non-Americans to learn American laws on the internet which is for all the people of the world.

Because you are communicating via property in the United States, thus, all US laws apply. Even then, its private property, so whatever SR says goes.

And the mention of countries which have a system in place to protect human rights.

It would be very hard to go by amendments because the members of SpyroForum come from many different countries. Why would you go by U.S. laws when people come from Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Austrailia.  (Others too)

Because the server is located in the United States?

Use of this forum is a privilege, not a right.

Now, I know I'm new here, but.

In my experiance, debates only draw immature behavior out of even the most patient of people - mostly because they get irritated at the immaturity of OTHERS, haha. While debates are often a very interesting and fun source of entertainment, it's hard to keep them regulated without someone pulling the old, "Help, help, I'm being oppressed!" or - dare I say it? - "It's my right under the First Amendment!" Ahh, the good old Freedom of Speech argument.

But back to the topic at hand. From what I've seen of this forum (and though for the most part, thus far, I have been merely a lurker), it seems more "grown-up" than a lot of the other forums I have had the pleasure of joining. Honestly, I think there is no reason to fear for the Apocolypse just because a few people talk about the forums on their deviantART. They're entitled to their opinions. (oops! I just pulled the "1st Amendment" defense. My bad.)

Since this forum is Private Property, no one has their first amendment rights here.

You said that people on the forums were not giving reasoning for their arguments.
Someone could take offense to that and argue with you.
Someone who doesn't give reasoning for their arguments could then join the argument.
Someone else would then complain that some people on these forums don't give reasoning for their arguments.
Someone could take offense to that and argue with that person...

See what im getting at, its never ending, and also ironic that there could be an arguement about people who dont argue properly, in which people might not argue properly.
