TLOS Spyro teenager: I find the whole concept strange actually for a few reasons
1.Spyro was supposed to be "frozen in time", why did he age?
2.Dragons arn't supposed to age as quickly as we are, (its like about 1:1000) so why did in 3 years did Spyro grow like a human in 3 year...something smells fishy! Are you telling me that they griw as quickly as we do and when they get to about the age of 18 they live like that for the most of their lives?.....

1.I think Spyro had used a "Time Fury," meaning that he had some control over time, so I think he chose to let himself and Cynder age (Sparx doesn't look any older, but I think he lost a finger).
2.And who said anything about a scale of 1:1000? If the makers decided he should grow like humans, then he should. Besides, it seems a little far-fetched that at young dragon who's powers have only begun to develop could defeat an adult dragon whose powers have been developing for centuries.
3.Plus, the Chronicler said he'd been alive for over a THOUSAND years, so going by what ratchet said, that makes him a tad over two.
4.It also seems odd that a dragon would stay a hatchling for 5-10 thousand years.

My theory is that dragons grow at the same rate as humans but stay as adults for around a thousand years (This applies to both series).

I also think that while dragon eggs can be laid at any time of the year, the dragons only hatch in the year of the dragon. Going by this theory...

Spyro 1: 10-11
Spyro 2: 11-12
Spyro 3 and 4: 12
Spyro SoI, SoF, and AotR/A: 12-13
AHT and Fusion/Orange: 13-14
SL: 14-15
ANB and TEN: 12
DotD: 15

(This would mean dragons age differently in the original series.)

Because the charecter was created,so crash could be any age.but the game creators didn't give them an atcual age,they can aim around a certain age but they never TOLD us it

I know, the creators didn't GIVE him an age, but he does HAVE an age. Its like if you found a baby on the street, just because you dont know its age, doesn't mean it doesn't have an age

Yes, but different storylines = anything can change, including Spyro's age. But yes, Burger King toys said that he was 12, for sure.

The new trilogy I'm not sure but I read that he was 12 years old.  Dawn of the dragon it happens three years after ETN  so that would make him 15 years old.

Makes sense. I saw a video on youtube, a guy from sierra entertainment talking about his tenth anniversery, that in DotD, he is a middle aged teenager. I ANB, he was 11. In TEN, he was 12. DotD, 3 years later. So that makes him 15. I think we just figured out the facts!
