Definitely not a platformer at all. I don't even get where someone could get that from.

Halo has platforming elements but it's not a platformer. I only said that because the Gamestop guys said it was. Hmm, now it seems they have been wrong 7/8 times I have asked them something...

I'm just asking, is halo a platform game or does it fit in another genre?
