well....the story did said that the dark lord is the first purple dragon....but they also mention that he hunger for power....maybe it is possible that dark lord did went in the purple beam that maybe give more power..

Malefor (aka. Dark Master) turned evil because of his hunger for more power.

I think it was possible that spyro felt the same thing when he was in that purple beam of light at the end of TEN.

Yes,the Dark master created and built the Mountain Of Malifor also Known as the Well Of Souls.

I have a question on the dark Master. Is the Drak master, the last purple dragon, that is now evil?
