The image when spyro is flying it looks more like a rock than a turtle besides if it was a turtle you will see its fins moving up and down

The rock he's standing on doesn't really have any patterns or markings to suggest that it's the turtle thing, and when you look at the full-size image, you can see it's not a smooth surface. There are a couple of other screen shots showing this location and what it looks like it really is a rock in a river at the edge of a waterfall. The drop-off in front of it is very clearly visible.

Nope, definitely a rock in a waterfall. It's a series of screenshots of Spyro flying and eventually landing as the camera catches up to 'im - I'm pretty SURE it is anyway, it's the same general atmosphere. Maybe just in a different area of that level.

I also thought it was a rock at the top of a Water fall with him looking off into the endless skys.

i've already seen all of the pictures i'm a member of dark spyro so i've seen all of them they have a gallery

... Yes, I KNOW everyone has already seen those, I was only using them to demonstrate a point which may or may not be true. I was just sayin' it looks like a rock and not a turtle 'cause it's a rock from the distance and it's a rock up close.

I don't know, I thought it was a rock. It could be the turtle, since they're still in the same world, universe what ever you call it, all the creatures would be still there (hopefully haven't driven to extinction ). Oh, about the space thing, spyro could be looking at the sky at the moon instead of being in space.

ok most of you will seen this screen shot

alot of people think its a levle based in space and spyros on a planet,your wrong. look around propley and your see water,ok you got that.

Now we all renember those turtles, the massive ones in ANB and TEN (that sparx decribes as "freaky,little,turtle,monster) if you know what they look like the thing that spyro is standing on is the same shape as there shell. and the head is burried under the waves since they splash when there in water.
