Well it is a new beginning for Spyro and he has grown up. Yeah I miss his old look and the music too but Spyro's gotta grow up sometime.

I think they both look really cute that way and awesome at the sametime!

Honest opinion? i think they've ruined everything that means spyro- the characters, their personalities, and whatever happened to that brilliant music, where when you heard it, it just made you think- that is spyro.
PS: why would you all think that they're sexy? it just looks naff. :-P

She's still black, only now there's a bluish-purpleish hue to her scales.
I loved the TEN design, and the first art for DotD made me a little skeptical of it. Now that I've seen some footage, I'm getting used to it. But I'll still prefer their younger models.

I can't STAND Spyro's design; I hated it in ANB and TEN and now I hate it even more. Why put so many unnecessary contours on his face? Why that horrendous curve on his mouth? Why make his chest so round and big? These are only the beginning of my frustrations. His snout is just too wide for no apparent reason, and his cheeks and neck are too fat. To top off all the things wrong with his face, the large eyes they put on him don't match, it's just making him goofy-looking, they were all right in the previous two games, but now that he's older, they just don't work. Also, his horns are horrible, it looks as though Spyro had two little stubs for horns and then stuck two cornucopias on his head to hide them. His underbelly is just strange, what are they, little armor plates stuck on his skin? Also, the combination of his round head with bumps and the really thin, spaced scales on it just make him look bald; his old unified scale on his head was awesome. The weird purple they colored him with and the large bumps for texture don't help either.

If I MUST say something good about it, I do like the tail attachment, although it's a little big. Also, his wings, even though they're at a weird shape, have nice texture.

Cynder's a bit better, though my frustrations with her new design make me prefer the younger version. That being the design on her chest, which she seems to share with Spyro. (IE. too big) I don't like her dark purple coloring; I preferred darker black, from her old design. Though I do like that her jewelry returns, and I like her drawn concept art design better, in which her anatomy is perfect, and her face seems to be much sharper.

I think Cynder looks VERY sexy... That is why I am basing my 3d dragon on a reference picture of her for my game.

I don't really care about the new look either way...

It suits the darker theme of the third game I suppose.
