sampson. my mom saved him. he would have died when some mexicans left him when they moved and...he got hit and almost died. he couldnt use his front right paw but he kept it and he was 2 years old. a hard, hard life though,he even got shot once! then one day he dissapeared. and my grandfather forund him in the woods. dead. and we dont even know what happened to him. but he was BY FAR the best pet i ever had and when i found out he died i cried LITTARATLLY 5 hours strait! (and now im crying again) :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I had a German Shephard named Max, since I was about 1. I basically grew up along with him for the majority of my life. He was a great pet and friend and we had all kinds of fun together, when I was younger. When he turned 13, however, his health worsened. His joints and legs pained him, probably from arthritis, and he whined whenever he got up to his feet or laid down. One day, that summer, my mother was sobbing when I came home from school. She pointed out Max to me. He was lying in the front foyer, on the tile floor, with his head on the edge of the carpet, like he always did...but he had passed. I didn't want him lying there like that, so I picked him up in my arms and carried him out to the garage and laid him on a furniture blanket. I took care of his body, for the next few days, until we were able to have him buried at a pet cemetery. *sighs* I still think about him, quite often.

Its not whining really, most people really care about their pets. My first cockatiel, Ali, died during the winter. It was the first year I had an aviary and I didn't know when exactly to set it up for winter (radiators, insulation etc). My favourite, Ali, had had four babies that season and was a bit, lets say unwell. She often had episodes when she was inside (she was in a cage before she went into the aviary) where she would hardly eat anything and would just sit in a corner all day. One the 3rd of November 2005 she was having a day like that.... I thought nothing of it, she had moments like that before so I left her be. On the 4th of November I walked out to the aviary to open the shutters and there was a bird dead on the floor. I ran to my Mum and said that a bird was dead, while I cried a bit my Mum removed it. Then she told me to come out and feed the others, which I did. When I came out my Mum was on the floor of the aviary, she had brought out a fan-heater and was sat with one of the other birds on her hand and was giving him sunflower seeds one-by-one to eat (he was Ali's son, Crackers and had nearly died too). I fed the other four (Jinx, Ali's mate, and her three other children). It was then I noticed that it was Ali that was gone..... I was crushed and I cried on a night for two days, then I got over it, I had to because Crackers' was poorly..... Anyway, at least your cat died due to natural causes, mine died naturally but I did play a part. I'm really careful that I set the aviary up for winter early now. I remember my Mum saying while we were feeding them: "Its a harsh lesson"..... Indeed it was.....

My cat Puffin died a while ago. Let me tell you a long, boring story about it, shall I?

When we first got the cat, it was just a stray cat on the side of the road. I was two and my sister was 6. She begged my mom and dad to let her have the cat. She promised to take care of it (which she didn't) and everything. Finally, they agreed to let her have the cat. According to my mom, I was too young to pronounce "Muffin" so I kept saying "Puffin" and thats how the name stuck.

I lived with that cat for a full 12 years. That cat was so nice and I loved it so much and I never thought it would ever die. She was a nice cat, never attacked any one, and the ironic thing was, she was full black fur.

Later on in life, around 10 years old, she started having seziures every now and then. The seizures were frequent and kinda long. I was really worried. We took her to the vet and they gave her a cat MRI (yes a cat MRI) and they saw that she had a brain tumor. I was really shocked.

The day that we decided to put her down, I was crushed inside, but for some reason, I didn't feel anything. I just held her for the last few minutes of her life. My mom took the cat from my hands, put her in the carrier and was off to the vet to have her youthanized.

I was just lost inside still. I couldn't believe that I'd never see her again

My mom and sister came home, had her wrapped in a towel, cold and dead. I bawled my eyes out. There aren't many times where I have cried in my life, and I was so sad. That cat meant a lot to me.

So yes, thats the story of my cat. If you read this, I thank you for listening to my whining

Its sad but its life. i love the replacements ^^.

My dog is on his last legs..any day he could be dead. and no replacements this time...:'(

My pet guinea pig Frankie died not long ago. Frankie why did you have to go :'( ? I miss you so much, and I don't have a picture of him. but I got two more guinea pigs after his death.

Heres my pet graveyard. Some of these are my familys or sisters but here they are:Henry, the family, I loved him so much, u dont no how much i loved him. i miss him sooo much :'( . Lenny, my sisters cat, he disapeared. my sisters 3 budgies, 2 flew away and 1 was taken away. i dont know y. and finally my 2 chickens both died. my sisters one died to. the first one my dog killed. it was sooooo cute. the second one just was found on the ground not breathing not moving. my sisters one, im not sure wat happened to that one.

I've got some baby budgies on the way. They have 4 eggs! XD I've had two pets die, ones that I knew anyway. One was Ali, my first cockatiel, her death crushed me, but I still have one of her sons, Crackers and her ex-mate, Jinx. The other major death was my cat Duchess, she was a family pet and we had had her for ages.... There are also many birds that I have 'lost' but thats because I've either sold them or given them away; Ace, Alex and Cosmo (Crackers' siblings), Itsy and Paris (two cockatiels I've bred from a bird called Pepper and her mate Bell, I've still got their siblings) and Dusty (Pepper's Dad). Those are all cockatiels and these are last years' budgies babies that I've sold; Stan, Kenny, Cartman and Kyle. There's also the lovebirds, Mamma and Keith and two of their babies; Freddie and Frankie. One of the babies (they were identical so I dunno which) died and I gave the rest away. They were horrible little creatures though so I say good riddence to them. They killed one of my budgies who was called May (I loved her to bits because she was funny to watch but I don't class her as a major death because I didn't bawl my eyes out like I did with the other two) and ripped out one of Crackers' claws and nearly killed him too because of all the blood he lost..... Horrible things.....

well these pets dident die recently but there my pets that have died in my care

about a year ago my dog called Smugee died of old age (14 years)

and a couple of years ago my hamster Po died due to a disease but it was sunday and the vet wasent open (1 and a half years)

My cat Jesse...
To tell you the truth, I'm not sure if he's dead or not.
He just disappeared back in February.
I hope he comes back one day.
I had him since I was four, I love him way too much...I even gave him his name...
