in the end though it was meant as a crack at the yet to be released LoS game and your ability in said game to fly (rather than glide)

Fine, I'll give it to you that LoS has a more complex plot than the original Spyro games. LoS FAILS in GamePlay. Spyro is not a Beat 'Em Up. Spyro is a Platformer that incorporates inventive mini-games. Both of those core aspects were removed from LoS, or at least toned down heavily.
