I only recommend this game if you've played every other Spyro game and you haven't played this one.

Hmm I would say get it only if you're really interested or a collector. If I ever get the chance to play it again I would, just to see how well I remember it. I do believe that you can get enjoyment outta it, but it isn't a must by any means.

I'd recomend getting the Player's Choice version for the Gamecube, that seems to be the most stable. That or renting it.
Or shoot it up on the Dolphin Emulator at 60FPS. As ChrystalFissure says, you can even add textures, so that's always interesting.

I recommend the game if you're a competitive Spyro speedway player like me. I still see some people are playing the speedway Time Attack of the PS1 trilogy but there's no one getting records in ETD speedway at the moment. So far I only made one record in ETD and that's the Banzai Speedway.

Here are my pros and cons about it: (For the PS2 version. I never owned the GC version)

Pros:
Graphics
Tried to be a REAL spyro, unlike all the other games that came later.
Original voice casts
Stewart Copeland
Level Size and design
Music
Sounds

Cons:
Framerate (Some areas only)
Glitches
Odd voice overs (They feel fanmade, even with the original voice cast)
Very short
Lackluster plot
Terrible boss battle

Id give it a 6/10. At least it tried to be spyro, unlike the sequels that came later.

It..ok....it dos'nt deserve the hate it gwets, but its awfully laggy and slow at loading

If i see it in a secondhand gameshop for a low price, I will probably buy it, as I have enjoyed hero's tail.

I would reccommend it if you had to kill some time not bad and worth a good play it still quite good, but rent it don't buy it. You will looking back two months from the time you bought it and saying "I've just completed the game and I don't want to reapet the same aimless *bleep*" and I say yeah aimless but good! 8/10

Your gonna hear yeses and noes, but its really up to you, if you like going around catching dragonflies then its up to you, but if you dont, i wouldnt recommend this games if you dont like any of the features it has
